Hey all! Apologies for the week long silence. I was in Oregon for much of the past week, with my camera, but sans USB cord. So, I'll see what I can do to catch up now. This is a year's worth of plastic bags I took in to recycle. Made my stomach turn. Especially considering how many fabulous tote bags we have in the closet. I'm hoping that by posting this photo of shame to my blog, it will be seared in my brain to take the totes wherever I go.

We jammed all our totes into the biggest tote we got and keep the whole stash in our trunk.
Y'all may have to split your totes between cars. For us, we almost never go grocery shopping in the pickup, so we keep 'em all in the Honda.
We also try to reuse the plastic produce bags for shopping, but they get used for dog-poop-duty most of the time.
