Raf and I spent the past week saying goodbye to 2009 and welcoming 2010 in Park City, Utah, with our friends Gina & Eric. We had such a great time! Raf and Eric were able to spend a few days snowboarding--enjoying fresh powder, great runs, and gorgeous views. Meanwhile, Gina and I were relaxing--sleeping in, lunching, and hanging out. It was a very fun and welcomed getaway. Here are some photo highlights:
The boys testing out their $1 video game console purchase--complete with 72 games! Pretty hilarious. This thing was vintage!
Proof that Gina and I did more than lunch. We enjoyed an entertaining morning of cross-country skiing.

Ugly photos--a Bowen tradition:
Ours is totally pathetic, but still makes me laugh every time!

Who's excited??

Easy Street (the underground option) was one of my favorite restaurants. Raf got the Green Chile--kind of a Chile Verde stew--our last day in town...it was so yummy! We have to figure out how to make it at home.

These paper lanterns topped and filled with snow cracked me up.

Special addition Raf bit into from the incredible cheese spread on our Mazza plate at another restaurant...EEK!
New Year wishes found on the elevator--posted by the kids down the hall that kept doorbell ditching us with a pile of shredded confetti. Too cute!
Such a great way to ring in the new year!
