The meat/sauce is a variation of Beef Tips and Artichokes with Merlot and Black Pepper Gravy, one of my favorite recipes from Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade 20 Minute Meals. (Yes, I still eat my fair share of packaged foods. Baby steps.) Our take on the recipe this time around:
- 1 pkg Tyson beef tips with gravy
- 1/2c red wine
- frozen asparagus, chopped
- steak seasoning & cracked black peppercorns
Boil wine 4-5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Add remaining ingredients and cook until heated through.
